SQUASH BALLS FOR AUTISM !

Ball blankets are weighted blankets that provide sensory stimulation and a calming effect to people with autism. League member Scott Exo has a friend at PPS who works with developmentally disabled students and is handy with a sewing machine. She created a prototype using an initial batch of used balls he gave her, and now she's ready for more ! So, let's divert those old, tired squash balls from the landfill and help out a worthy cause. (Sorry, racquet balls aren't appropriate for this project).

A collection box has been set up behind Court 1 at Lloyd Athletic Club.
